Last Saturday, Lur days hi fore the licensing poll, paid-up sbaros in Manning and Co.’s browery wero quoted at 1:3 12s 6d, and in Waid and Co.’s at £<L 11s. Today, three days after tho poll, Maoniog and Co.’si shares are quoted at £4 10s, a rise oM7s 6d, and Ward and Co.'s at US ss, a rise of 14s. Immediately before the poll of 1902 tho quotations for both companies’ shares were £5 15s,
