ELECTION NOTICE. EASTERN MAORI ELECTORAL DISTRICT. NOTICE OF DATES OF NOMINA TION AND POLLING.

IN pursuano3 of “The Eleotoral Aot, 1905,” I, John Brooking, Beturning Officer for the Eastern Maori Electoral District do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 22nd day of November, 1915, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an Election will be held for the i eturn of a legally qualified person to serve as a Mfmber of the House of Kepresentatives for the above-mentioned Eleotoral Distriot, and that'the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Courthouse, Gisborne, at noon, on FBIDAY, the Ist day of December, 1905; end that the Polling, if necessary, will take place on WEDNESDAY, the 20th day ef December, 1905, at the several Polling Places within the said Electorate. Candidates shall be proposed by one and seconded by another Elector, both of whom must be qualified to vote at the Election of Member for that district. The Polling Places for the Eastern Maori Electoral District are set forth to the Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, dated 22nd November, 1905, and in the Supplement to the Kahili o Niu Tireni of the same date.
