ELECTION NOTICE. EASTERN MAORI ELECTORAL DISTRICT. NOTICE OF DATES OF NOMINATION AND POLLING. IN pursuanca of “ The Electoral Act, 1905,” I, John Brooding, Returning Officer for the Eastern Maori Electoral Distric 1 , do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 22nd day of November, 19C5, under the hand of the Olerk of the Writs, on Election will be held for the return of a legally qualified person to sorve as a M'mber of the House of Representatives for the abovo-mtntioned Kleotoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Cour house, Gisborne, at neon, on FRIDAY, the Ist day of December, 1905; end that the Polling, if nece:sary, will take place on WEDNESDAY, the 20ih day cf December, 1905, at the several Polling Places within the said Electorate. Candidates shall be proposed by one and seconded by another Elector, bo'.h of whom must be qualified to vole at tho_ Election of Member for that district. The Polling Places for the Eastern Maori Electoral District are set forth to the Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, dated 22nd Ncvembar, 1905, and in the Supplement to the Kahili o Niu Tireni of the samo date.
