Nothing official ha’, however, boon received by tho Registrar from the returning officer in charge. To carry no-license on the present total obtained by continuance, the no-license party will require to increase their total by 92. This will bo made clear to our readers if they es3ume for argument’s sake that the total numbor of valid voters reaches 6750. Three-fifths of 6750 is 4050, and two-fifths 2700, which last number tbo continuance party already have. If the electoral returns are to bo taken as a guide there is little prospect of the number of valid votes reaching 6750, as there are already 76 informal votos Uulaes the votes alroady credited to continuance oan be substantially reduced there is little chance of the position of affairs being a tered. There are 29 permits lo come in, but giving all those to nu-licenae they cannot effect the result.
