All tho city bauds are taking part, and Sir Robert Stout ie to give an aldress. Mr Edmond Conding, for 85 years in the Government service as stamp printer, is dead. Deceased was born in Wellington in 1844.

J. Holmes, a clerk in the Treasury Department, committed suioido this morning by hanging himself. Deceased had been in ill-health. An inquest is being held this afternoon.
