IN pursuance of "The Electoral Aet, 1905," I, John Brooking, Returning Offiocr for the Eastern Maori Electoral District, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ hearing date the 22nd day Of November, 1905, under the hand of the Olerk of the Writs, an Eleotion will be held for the return of a legally qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the above-mentioned Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Courthouse, Gisborne, at noon, on FRIDAY, the Ist day of December, 1905; and the Polling, if necessary, will take place on WEDNESDAY, the 20ih day cf December, 1905, at the several Pollin ?
