THE NAUGHTY, BAD, MOSQUITO.

I really must admit. Sir (said Mr J. Taihoa), The mosquito ia an inßect I really do abhor, I'm native born, and I can dance, and like'

■wise I oan s’ng, But I do detest mosquitoes—especially their

stiog. I should have been up Waihi ?ay and scorned you onco again, If that mosquito had not come to sting with

might and main. I If mosquito gets to Wellington, ’twill sting 1 them one and all, ’Twill sting King Diok, and Joseph, and even Bling a Wall. He’s a plucky little fellow, he’s buzzing to and fro. His stings are straight-out answers-a decided “ Yes ” or “ No.” I He’s partial to the freehold.—l’m not—but then Oh Lor’, I’ve got to do as Bichard doss, as I bave done before. I wish it was all over—this election is a fuss. The stings are getting sharper—l’m feeling wuss and wuss. If I do not go to Wellington to a colder clime I go, Where there are no mosquitoes to buzz and sting you so. • .
