The Lancashire County Council is. prosecuting a firm at Preston respecting a box of so-called Queensland butter bearing the Government stamp found to contain an adulterated mixture largely of cocoanut oil. The Agents-GeneraLare assisting the lbs prosecution. The butter was traoea to "i manufactory in London. It >s believed that other Government graded butters are : also tampered with.
