Sir,—The Rev. Mr Thomas in hie repfi says, “ ' Givis ’ is as rash with his momj as he is amusing in his statements eonJamed in letter." I would ask Mr Thomas was it for amusement that j his wardens, on his behalf, oommunioated with mo and many others asking for £SO towards the building of his new church, or would Mr Thomas consider me “ rash with my money ” if I oomplied with the request ? Mr Thomas also Btated, “ When he (‘ Civiß ’) has sufficient pluok to reveal his name I shall havo something further to 66 y-” I oan tell Mr Thomas that when ho has sufficient pluck lo prove his assertions to be truthful I will forward him £SO for bis now church. Tho editor of the Gisboene Times has gut my name and Mr Thomas will gat tho money proho P roves statements to be true. If Mr Thomas cannot do so, let him givo £SO to the hospital and apologise to the persons ma'igned,—l am, etc., ■ y wm*
