The Newcastle Shipping Company on Wednesday notified the wharf bands that the pay vyoujd bp 48s per week of 60 hours, and that the overtime rate fiom Monday would be Is 4.1, instead of Is fid. l’be men demurred, bu.e to-day intimated their in. lention of aooepting the reduction.
