A man named William Sangsjer was sevcely injured by the explosion of $ keg lof gunpowder. He had just put ip a, I ehaige, and was closing his match-box, when the head of a match flew off into the j j keg cf powder. He and his mates had a [ miraoulous escape, jibe blast exploding within six feet of thorn while rendering assistance. The acoident occurred on a 6ft t.ack on the edge of a cliff, 120 ft deep. Sangster reached the top last night, 28 hours after the accident. He waß taken to the hospital. Hopes are entertained that his eyes will not be affected.
