;(Per Press Association.) Anokland, hat night, An inquoot was held to-day into the olronmatanoes surrounding a fire whioh ocentred on tho premisos of Mrs R. Z. Garrett, milliner, and H. Jaakson, tobacconist, at Olahuho, on the 7th Ootober. The ovidonoo was to tho effoot that tbe plaoos, separated by an alley way Bft wide, wero set on firo simultaneously, and that kerosene had been used. Both plaoes caught fire on the oorner of the building faoing the alloy way, and according to two witnesses who discovered and suppressed tho flames, Mr Garrett appeared upon tho econo two minutes I . aftor tho alarm was given, fully drossed. I fdarrott, howover, denied this. Tho places wore not muoh damaged, and Garrett’s stock was insured for £IOO. A verdioi that the placoa were wilfully set on firo was returned.
