At the Police Court yesterday morning a first offender for drunkenness was discharged with a caution, A man named Hugh Campbell was fined £1 for a similar offenoe.
The Railway Department notifies that special trains will be run on Thursday for Te Karaka, leaving Gisborne at 9 a.m. and 1.30 p.m., the retain fare being Is 61.
