Consolation-Handicap, of 4 sovs (all winners at meeting barred); 2nd horse to receive 10s out of stakes. Nomination 4s. Six furlongs. RULES.
1. Name, age, performances, pedigree, and colors of riders must accompany nominations. 2. No entries received without cash. 3. Stewards : have'the right to’ bar - any horse from starting in a race if incorrect performances are given. 4. Protests must be made in writing to Secretary within ten minutes after race, aooompanied with £l, which will be forfeited to the Club if protest is dismissed. Stewards’ deoision to be final. 5. Horses in District Bace to have been the property of owners (three months before Bace Meeting) living in Whatatutu and Karaka districts ; district from Eaitaratahi Bridge up. 6. All jockeys to pay a fee of 2s 6d. Licenses to be produced at Beales.
