MURDEROUS ATTACK ON . CHINAMEN.

(Per Presa Association.) I Auckland, last night. I Yesterday afternoon a somewhat sensational inoideot occurred at Arch Hill, where a number of Chinamen have gardens.. The Chinamen state that a young fellow passing through the gardens j with a dog and gun fired and hit one of the ChinameD, bat he was net seriously injured. The man returned in about half-au-hour, and, it is alleged, fired straight at twp of the Chinamen who were working together. One was bit in the face vyith a couple of pellets, but not badly hurt, theother only being slightly grazed. The police are making investigations.
