Ghoorka went twloe round at halfi-speed; Glouowlet and To-morrow did five fur" longs in I.B} ; Calibre had Goldon Knight woll beaten over a mile on the plough; Chivalry defeated Boris over six furlongs in 1.16}, the performance being attractive; Stopdanoor went a mile and a quarter on tho plough in 2.18. a very creditable performance ; Kirriemuir dofoatod Stronghold by three lengths over half a mile in 48seo, an exceptionally smart performance ; Douohe and Farltutu galloped a mile and a qunrtor In 2,11, Douche finishing in front. Paritutn performed disappointingly, being vigorously ridden from about tho straight. Mystification, Voneer and Mahutonga ran a mile. Tho first two finished togethor. Mahutonga, although ridden vigorously, failed to |keep with them. Time 1.41}. Neither of the leaders was extended. Solution easily defeated Brighton over five furlongs, the last half mile taking 48aeo. Solution was fully extended at the fiuiah. B*. Joe de» feated Tirole by ten lengths, over a mile on the plough in 1.48}. Zimmerman was better than Mnngieta at the end of half a [ mile in SOjoo. Vladimir defeated Stacshoot over six furlongs in 117}. Tupara had all tho boat of a gallop over a mile with Taxpayer. Graduated Tax, Blaok Reynard and Ballarat did five furlongs in 1.4}, Melodeon and Lyrist ran a mile and a half in 2.48 1 6, Melodeon, who waa redlly extended, finishing in front, but Lyrist could easily have defeated his companion. Ailsn and Petrovna did steady work. Machine Gun waa fully extended over six furlongs, which was run in 1.151-5. He tired perceptibly at the finish. A Ysidburet quartette—Porcelain, Seal Book, Edna May and Cream Jug—did steady paoing. Master Alix, Convoy and Beau Seaton galloped a mile yesterday afternoon 1.46}. The first-named had all the best of the gallop. A large number of other horaea did useful, bull unsensational work.
