Aohilles ' went once ronnd at three-quarter pace, j Glenowlet and, To-morrow brushed over ■ six furlongs in 1.17 45. Ghoorka ran i 1 right away from Tiroleover a mile in 1.451, | finishing well. Veneer and St. Joe went a mile and a quarter in 2.14 45, Veneer finishing strongly, easily holding his comI panion, who was vigorously ridden over tho last .two furlongs. Petrovna only cantered. Stronghold easily defeated Golden Vein ovor five furlongs, the last lin 50 4-0. Mystification and Mahctonga I went a mile and a half m 2.48 1-6 Mahutonga was in difficulties three furlongs from home. Mohioan had the better of Narcissus andHuku at the end of a mile. Solution ran Bix furlongs, the last five in 1.4, Boris defeated Marguerite over five furlongs. Stepdanoer ran a mile In 1.44 4-5. Master Alix and Convoy" were together at the end of eix furlongs m 1.20}, but Alix was not extended. Lyrist cleared away from Melodeon in a mile and a quarter spin in 2.14 4-5. Blythej maid was extended over five furlongs. A large number of- two-year-olds were worked. Mytbioal defeated Resound and Astrardenlie over half a mile in 50 2-5 Zimmerman beat Mungista end Golden ! Gate in 49 4-s—a pleasing gallop. Kir. nerauier easily disposed of Golden Cairn, onowstall, Gallantry and Sailmaker in J 49aec. The Yaldhnrst quartette—Huas. “ oar, Seal Rook, Bt. Regis and Edna May were exorcised at the barrier, Huasoar creating a favorable impression. Petrovna has a severe cold, and is a doubtful Blatter at the meeting. Machine Gun was worked lato, brushing over half a mile.
