The following hours will bo observed at the Chief Post Offico, Gisborne, on Thursday, November 9th, King’s Birthday : Telegraph Office : 9 o.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight.. Telephone Exohange : 7 o.m. to 11 p,m. Poßt Office: A olose holiday will be observed,. Mails usually despatched on Thursday will bo olosed at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Bth, but supplementary mails will be closed al 6 a.m. on Thursday, On Wednesday, tbe Btb, the Post Offioe will open from 7 to B"p.m. for delivery of correspondence only. Letters delivered by lottor carriers may be obtaioed at private box wicket.
