SALE OF LAND.

Per Press Association. Napier, last night. Messrs O. B. Hoadley and Son have sold Captain Birche’s Oruamatua estate, Inland Patea, consisting of 4050 acres free, hold and 54,000 acres leasehold, together with 32.000 sheep and 350 bead cattle, including nil plant, as a going conoern to Mr T. H. Lowry, of Okawa, for the sum of £60,000. This property is situated on the opposite side of tbe Rangitikei river to Mr G. P. Donnelly’s Mangahane estate. Messrs 0. B. Hoadley and Son have also bien instructs! by Mr T. H. Lowry to offer a portion of his Okawa estate to the Government for the purpose of close settlement.
