BOROUGH OF GISBORNE. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPE« CIAL RATE £4OO ADDITIONAL I ABATTOIR LOAN. IN pursuanee and exeroise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by " The Local Codies Loans Aot, 1901,” the Gisborne Borough Counoil hereby resolve as follows “That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £4OO, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne Borough Counoil under the above-mentioned Aot, for establishment of Abattoirs, the said Gisborne Borough Counoil hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one fourteenth of a penny in the Pound Sterling upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property within tne Borough of Gisborne, as defined In the New Zealand Gazette of the Ninth of June 1904, No. 48, Folio 1490, and that such Speoial rate be an annual reourriug rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half yearly on the Thirtieth day of June, and the Thirty-first day of December, in each and every year during the ourrenoy of suob loan being a period of Forty-one years or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest on such loan being 4 per cent der annum: and it is further resolved “ That the interest upon the loan shall be paid oat of the charges, rents and tolls accruing from such Public Abattoirs, and in that case the Special rate will not be collectsd except to make good any defioienoy teat may occur through the revenue from snoh Abattoirs being insufficient to meet the interest and lawful charges upon the loan.” Passed at a special meeting of the Gisborne borough Counoil, held on the 26th day of September, 1905, and confirmed at a properly constituted meeting of the said Council, held on Tuesday, the 24th day of October, 1905. -
