The Mikado, aboard the Asama, reviewed the Japanese and British fleets at Tokio Bay. The combined squadron's comprised 808 vessels. Captured Russian warships were a feature. The shores were lined with spectators. There was tremendous enthusiasm. The Mikado afterwards gave audience io British and Amorican officers. The warships were illuminated at night o.nd there was a fireworks display.
