A WOMAN OF NERVE.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Harry Eklund was arrested to-day on a charge of at'empting to commit suioidn by hanging himself. When a retted he admitted the charge. The woman at whose bouse tbe man lodged Btates that sbe found accused banging by a rope in one of the rooms, partly strangled, and she released him. She also states t' at Eklund had been in very low spi iti lately.
