NATIVE APPELLATE COURT,
(Befi-re Judges Jones and Jackson Palmer ' and Mr Nicholson, ABBessor.) The Appellate Court, which opened last week, is making good progress with its work. On Monday an appeal in Watpiro 2, 3 and 4 blocks, succession case, was disposed of, the Court admitting the appellant to a share in the blook. A Wairoa case was htard regarding the Paeroa blocks'. The Court reversed the decision of the Lower Court, holding that certain minors were cot bound by the admissions of other claimants. Yesterday an appeal against the partition of the Heroberetau No. 2 block, Wairoa, was heard. The Court held that there was not sufficient evidence shown to justify them in disturbing the deoision of the Lower Court, and the judgment therein was affirmed. Another Wairoa appeal, regarding a will, was withdrawn. A ease of suooeßsion in the Whangara block stands part heard, and will be con tinued to-day. Judge Edgar arrives on Sunday next,
