A deputation representing Christchurch and Dunedin workors arrived in Welling, too this morning to press upon members of tho House the need for immediate action in regard to the Amorioun Harvester Trust. The deputation included representatives of tho Ohrisiohuroh Implement Trade Workers’ Executive, tho pre- 1 Bident bf the Canterbury Industrial As* I sooiation, and the presidents of the Christchurch and Dunedin Trades .and Labor I Connoil. In the morning the deputation I gave ovidenoe before the Labor Bill Com- I miltee, and supplied statistics aod faots j regarding tho Trus‘. • In tho afternoon it I tnst over 40 members of tho fiouso, and I Wrgod tho need for immediate legislative I aetion. I
The Frontier, in reply, Baid that the House recognised tho seriousness of- the position, and would earnestly consider the representations made. The. matter had been brought forward at a very late stage . of the session however, and a great deal of information was required before aetion I could be taken with justice to all parties. I
