A BOER CONSPIRACY.
TO EXPEL GERMANS FROM SOUTH-WEST AFRICA.
NATIVES TO BE DRAWN INTO PLOT.

The Berlin press give prominence to a startling oonßpiracy organised by Boers on settlors of German South-West Africa, to raid the colony, steal ail tho horses and cattle, and then join the natives in expelling the Germans. Andries De Wet, nephew of General De Web, has been arrested at Windhoek as ringleader, with a numbor of Buspeoted persons. A quantity of army ammunition was seized.
Reoeived 10.22 p.m., Oct. 4. The alleged conspirators intended to surprise Windhoek and release tho Boers imprisoned in the gaols, and afterwards to join Wilbois’ tribesmen on the Beohuana land frontier. Another party was to go east and persuade the Basutos to join the plot. The Boers arrested formerly belonged to the National Scouts, and were in the British service. A number of Boers at Windhoek disclaimed association with the plot.
