The first children’s oourt under the Neglooted Children’s Act, the object of whiob is to remove juvenile offenders from the surroundings of the police court, was held at Ormond House. ' Boys were charged with breaking into a residence and Btsaling money. After the hearing of the case the boys were looked up in the dormitory, pending the decision of the Magistrate. They esoaped 'by the 1 fanlight, playing havoc with the furniture in the dormitory before leaving; -They were re-arrested while playing in the street.
