At the iDqueet on Do Winton, his Mrs Leon, gave evidence.- She Btated that deceased was worried over his financial position at tbe club. They both agreed to die together. Deceased mixed some morphia, and she drank her portion. Both destroyed thoir papers prior to the deed, inoluding a will by De Winton in her favor. The secretary of the club statod that an audit revealed a shortage in deoeased’s accounts of £527.
