FOOTBALL.
TARANAKI DEFEATS WAIRARAPA
(For, Press Association.) Masterton, last night. The Wairarapa and Taranaki football teams tried conclusions to-day. The ground was heavy on acoount of raiD, and there were pools of water on it. Taranaki won by five points (try by Guy converted by Potter) to nil. Taranaki outclassed Wairarapa both in the back and forward divisions.
