TO BE CONCLUDED TO-DAY. There was a largo attondanoo at tbo Theatre Royal yesterday afternoon nod I evening, on tho oooasion of tho bazaar hold in connootion with Wosloy Ohuroh. A most attractive display of goods was made, tho several stalls being most artistically arranged. A number of sideshows were well patronised, inoluding an up-to-dato museum uudor Mr Goldsmith, whioh was

the subject of much nrausomont and well worthy of inspection. Ping-pong tables, i olectrio battorios, tolograph offices, and a score or more attractions gave ample opportunities to one to spend a pleasant hour. i; The bazaar was opened by His Worship tho Mayor at 2,80, and from that time on good businoss was reported. In tho evening tho City Band rendered a numbor of soleolions, and a strong orchestra under Mr C. J. East also ployed at intervals. Tho orchestra included Misses

I Welsted and Hawkins,Messrs Walker,Don, 1 [ Wilkinson, Douglas, and MoCaskell. Tho I various stalls wore woll stocked. The work stall was presided over by Mesdamos Reynolds, Rae, Goldsmith, Oxenham, and I Vinoont, and tho fanoy work stall was in I charge of Mesdameß . Hounsell, Foster, land Spenoo. A book stall is under tho care of Mrs Kennedy, and Misß Bevan and Mrs G. East proeide over the flower I stall. Other departments are as follows: I —Refreshment atoll, Mesdames Bryant and Havers; -lollie stall, Miss Broken-. I shire ; telegraph office, Misseß Fauberi and Rosie; shooting gallery, Mr Hodgkinson; wood-sawing and nail-driving, Mr Wilkinson; ping pong, Mr Vincent. A feature of the bazaar is tho Singer machine guessing competition. Tho I Singer Company have presented a fino sewing maohine as a . part donation to tho bazaar,-and it will go to the winner of a guessing competition as to how many stitches there are in a pieoe of work done on the maohine. Entrance to the competition is one shilling, and the valuable prize should elioit numerous estimates. The bazaar will be brought to a oonolu*. sion this evening, when there should be a largo gathering. • ?1
