The Medioal Conference carried resolutions affirming that the übs of X rays, radium and Finseu light should be under the direct supervision of a medioal man, owing to the complex and sometimes dangerous symptoms produced by these agents. It was also resolved that an applied school of hygiene should form compulsory subjeota for the training of State sohool teaohers; that a system of medioal inspection of State (schools should be in* stituted; that it was unethioal for members of the medioal profession to grant interviews to the lay press on medioal matters iu connection with which their names were allowed to appear.
