(Per Press Association-) Christchurch, last night. The Christchurch Drainage Board, at a special meeting held this afternoon, adopted a motion authorising the promotion of a Bill in Parliament to anthoriso the Board to borrow £IOO,OOO for tho extension of the sewerage system through great Christchurch, and the Board’s solicitor stated that Sir Joseph Ward had told him that if the standing orders re advertising and depositing of looal Bills wore oomplied with the Bill wonld have the snpport of the Government.

Four more trailers were added to the Tramway Board’s rolling stook to-day. The trailers were made from old openßide oars taken over from the Tramway Company. Eaoh trailer has double the carrying oapaoity of any eleotrio oar.
