I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that a Special Meeting ot the Waikohu Road District Board will bs held at the Board’s ■ Office, Karaka, on SEPTEMBER 18th, 1905, for the purpose of making the following Speolal Order “In purauanoo and exeroise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “ The Looal Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waikohu Road Board does hereby resolve as follows—- .“ That for the purpose of providing the* interest and other charges on a loan of £6OOO, authorised to be raised by the Waikohu Road Board, under the provisions of ‘The Looal Bodies' Loans Aot, 1901,' for erecting a cart bridge across the Waipaoa River, at the Kanaekanae creseing, the said Waikohu Road Board does hereby make and levy a Special Rtae of One-fiith of a Penny in the £1 upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Eanaekanae Bridge Spooial Bating District, as follows, and that suoh Spfcial Rate Bballbe an annual-reourr-ing rate during tho currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year duriDg a period equal to tho ourrenoy of such loan, being a period of fortytwo years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to he 4 per cent.”
