WAIKOBU BOAD DISTBIOT. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that a Special Meeting ot the Waikohu Road District Board will bs held at the Board’s ■ Office, Karaka, on SEPTEMBER 18th, 1905, for the purpose of making the following Speolal Order “In purauanoo and exeroise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “ The Looal Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waikohu Road Board does hereby resolve as follows—- .“ That for the purpose of providing the* interest and other charges on a loan of £6OOO, authorised to be raised by the Waikohu Road Board, under the provisions of ‘The Looal Bodies' Loans Aot, 1901,' for erecting a cart bridge across the Waipaoa River, at the Kanaekanae creseing, the said Waikohu Road Board does hereby make and levy a Special Rtae of One-fiith of a Penny in the £1 upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Eanaekanae Bridge Spooial Bating District, as follows, and that suoh Spfcial Rate Bballbe an annual-reourr-ing rate during tho currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year duriDg a period equal to tho ourrenoy of such loan, being a period of fortytwo years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to he 4 per cent.”

Commencing at a point on the Waikohu River, beinn the intersection of the western boundary of Poututu Block 2,4, 82, and proceeding thenoe by the centre of that river to the Waipaoa River, thenoe by the centre of that river to the Bangatira Ford at Karaka, thence by the centre of the main road to its intersection with the western boundary of the Buangarehu Bloob, thenoe by that boundary to the centra of the Waipaoa River, thence towards the south-east by the centre of that river to the south-western boundary of the Ngakaroa No. 2 Block, thence towards the north-east by a publioroad to the Mangataikehu stream, thence by the centro of that stream and the centre of the Tapuitara and Hurunui streams to the southern boundary of the Papakorokoro Block, thence by the southern and eastern boundaries of that blook and the Waihora No, 2 Block to the Urumatai stream, thence easterly to a right line ton point being the production of a right line drawn from trig 134 to trig 123, thence by a right line to trig 134, thence by another right line to trig 168, thence by a right line to trig Tangihanga, thence north-westerly by right line to the western boundary of Tutahoe No. 1 Block, thence south-westerly by the boundaries of that blook and the Waipaoa No- 3a Block, thence eonth-eaßterly by the sonth-weetern boundaries of that block to the Waingaromia stream, thence by the centre of that stream to the Waitangi stream, thence westerly by the boundaries of Waitangi No. 1, No. 2c, No. 2b Blocks, and the Pakake-a-Whirikoka Block to the centre of he Waise a river, thence sootherly by the centro of that river to its junction with the Wheao stream, thence northerly and westerly by the centre of that stream to a point beiDg the intersection of a line being the eastern boundary of Block XIV., Maogatu Survey District, thence northerly by that line to the Urukokomoko stream, thence by the centre of that stream to the northern boundary of Poututu B 6 Block, tbeDCa easterly by the boundL.ies of Poutntu Block to the north-west corner of that block, thence southerly by the western boundary of Pontamu Block to the Waikohu river, the point of commencement.
