HAITI ROAD BOARD. IT is hereby notified that it is tho intention of the above-named Board, at a meeting to bo held on TUEBDAY, September 12th, 1905, to strike a General Rate of One Halfpenny in the £, in terms of Seotion 37 of " The Rating Aot, 1894," and Seotion 114 of “ The Road Boards Aot, 1882 ” ; the Baid rate to be on the oapital value of all rateable property within the Haiti Road District, for the period of one year, from the Ist Apri!. 1905, to tho 31st March, 1906, and to be due and payable in one sum on September 27th, 1905, at the Offiae of the Board, Lowe Street, Gißborne. It is also notified that the following Speoial Rates, to provide interest on JLoans under “ The Govordmont Loans ;to Local Bodies' Act, 1886," and any amendments thereof, will be levied for tho same period for the repeotive Speoial Districts defined in Speoial Orders striking Special Rates f -
