It was disolosed that all for whioh Willis was agent were rushed through. As the result of his pressing the Onder-Seorolary for Lands they were oontainod in aspeoial Gazette, prepared after midnight on the dav when land matters were not usually published. The Government printer gave ovidenoo that ho demanded executive authority before he published the Gazette, because so many unusual things wore done about that time.
