FREEZING COMPANY.
DIVIDEND OF 8 PER OENT DECLARED.
.(Per Press Association.) Wanganui, last night. The annual meeting of the Wanganui Freezing Company was held to day. The I balance at profit and loss, inoluding £2671 15a 2d carried forward from last year, was £6960 Os 7d, whioh the directors recommended for appropriation as follows: To be placed to insurance reserve, £1000; pay a dividend of 8 per oent per annum on the paid-up capital of the company; make neoessary provision for depreciation of machinery and plant; and carry forward the balance. The report and balancesheet were adopted. Messrs John Stevenson and S. Handley were re-eleoted directors. In the course of his remarks the Chairman said it wa3 intended, at the end of next Beason, to enlarge tho works to a capacity of 2000 Bbeep a day.
