CYCLONIC DISTURBANCES.
A WARNING TO SHIPPING. By telegraph, Prcsa A»s’n, Copyright Received 9.12 p.m-, Aug. 80. Sydney, Aug. 30. A cyclonic disturbance is affecting a great portion of the State. There is snow on the southern and central tablelands and rain elsewhere. It iB bitterly cold, with a south-westerly gale on 'theboast. The Observatory gives warning that-there is expected to be exceptionally severe woather off the coast, with dangerous conditions between Sydney and the South Island of Now Zealand.
