{Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. The statement for the seventeenth week of the Lincoln College egg-laying competition shows that 827 eggs were laid during the week, the total to date being 7760. The highest on the list for the week are: F. 0. Hack, silver Wyandottes, 81, total 171; J. 3. Shaw, brown Leghorns, 30, total 293; J. W. Halliday, Minoroas, SO, total 189. A snow shower and changeable weather affected the birds adversely.
