0 VERDICT OF NATURAL DEATH.
(Per Press Association,) Auckland, last night,
I The Coroner’s inquiry into the death of I James Poulton, adjourned in consequonce I of evidence given as to the alleged visit to I the house of two men just prior to death, I was concluded to-day. Mr Primrose, Poulton’s housekeeper, contradicted the evidence of Mrs McPike as to two mon forcing their way in and assaulting Poulton. I Mrs Posselwaite said two men came to I the house, and her husband tried to push one of them out. Beyond that ehe heard no altercation, Albert M. Moore stated that on the | night in question he and Alfred Watts vited the house about 10.30 o’clock,but not Jator. They only stopped about five minutes, and did not enter the house. Watts corroborated this statement. The jury returned ajverdiot that deceased died from a diseased und fatty heart ia a oatural way.
