Xbe Craven school team (Palmerston North) moved mtieh too good for the Napier * Fitts’ High Sohool first eleven, defeating them by 8 goals to nil.
WEST END. V. KIA-KAHA.
A very fast and be tween the West End and Kia-Kaba Clubs eventuated yesterday, resulting m a win for the former by four goals to two. Both Clubs had their best teams engaged, and some splendid play was witnessed. The first spell ended with two goals to West End’s credit, which were obtained respectively by Wilson and Lewis. In the Second spell Kia-Kaha kept attacking very etronglyf with tbo result that they were enabled to socure two successive goals, for which Hansen was responsible, the last one being obtained by a smart piece of play. West End theD commenced to play up, and after several determined rushes, Somervell managed to secure an additional goal, which was shortly followed by another, obtained by Bice, From this stage to the end of the game, neither side could claim advantage, although the-game ended in dangerous proximity to West End’s goal. For the winning team ; Sharp, Wilson, Roderick, Johnston, and Friday were noticeable for good play throughout, whilst for Kia-Kaba Willook, Evaps, Hansen, Slomervel), and Coleman were equally prominent.
