Tho Notional Convention of Chicago, representing 200 agricultural, industrial, and oomcnoroial nssooiations, urged Congress to adopt a dual tariff, with low duties for goods from nations favoring tho United States and high duties on goods from oountriea discriminating against tho United Stator. It rooommended tho formation of an American Rooiprooal Tariff League.
