In consequence of the refusal of the New Zealand Bngby Union to pay £4 6s expended by the Canterbury Union in entertaining the homeward bound New Zealand football team while in Christohuroh, the committee of the Canterbury Union de> oided to-night that if the refusal is adhered •to they would decline in future to entertain •any team visiting Christchurch under the ijauspioes of the New Zealand Union.
