IMPORTANT DECISION AS TO GRAND LODGES. I I—w (Per Press AssociaticnO Thames, last night. . The following important information to the Masonic fraternity cam 9 to hand from Home to-day at a conference of representatives of tho Grand Lodges of England, Ireland, and Scotland, held in London, tho following among other resolutions was passed : “ Tbs question of recognising a new Grand Lodge in any colony or other territory in which grand lodges have equal jurisdiction, and have warranted Lodges working therein, shall not be enter iained unless at least two-thirds of the Lodges under each ijuriudictioQ have signified their adhesion to such now body. Such recognition shall only Be granted by ■agreement of three Gcaud Lodges on Buch ireoognition tf such new Grind Lodge as a .sovereign body. The respective authorities of three Grand Lodgos will surrender their rights to warrant new Lodges within juris diction of tho new body, provided that the rights of tho Lodges not adhering te the ■new body shall be fully safeguarded." The conference was called at the instance of the Grand Lodge of England, presided over by the Earl of Amherst, Pro, Grand Macter, and was attended by the Grand Master of Soot aud, and representatives of the Grand Lodge of Ireland,
