The ‘Tomahawkers ” reckoned ho could preach if he could fight “ Bully Burke, the “ringer.” When the parson stripped, and showed a superb muscular development, and when he laid up “Bully ” with a broken arm, a contnsod countenance, and several other fraotureu, the shearers were delighted, and asked him to preach. "Me preach ? ” he snorted. “ I’m Paddy Blank, the professional middleweight pug. I’ve been looking for something like this for cjuite a while.
