LABOR PARTY’S POSITION IN A CRITICAL JUNCTURE. By telegraph, Press Ass'n, Copyright BRISBANE, July 28. According to the newspaper Worker a critical, juncture, has arisen in the history of ’ the Queen'tland Labor party owing' to the action of the trcccnl Foderal Convention. It adds that the Labor voter is in an unfortunate position. As a Federal Labor voter lie believes only in nationalisation of monopolies. As a State voter he will he asked: to subscribe to nationalisation of all industries. 'The absurdity of the position is self-evident. Eagartling tlic immediate stoppage of the sale of all Crown lands this implied that tho State shall 1 not even sell’‘town or suburban allotments, homestead, or conditional selections, and a man will be unable to obtain the title deeds to., bis land. The introduction of such impracticable elements would infallibly drive away from the party many earnest co-workers, and also tend to prevent the Parliamentary Labor party co-operating with any other political party- for the purpose of progressive legislation.
