Ho was quite in I agreement with tho oonforonoo that measures should bo taken to prevent tbe 1 decrease of nativo and iraportod gamo, and ho would be glad to consider the question of issuing licenses to shoot native game. Cylinder and deooy shooting ought to bo stopped. Ho beliovod there should bo sanctuaries for deor. As far as trout was couoerned, ho thought netting should bo put a stop to. Ho was auxious to do what was right, and would go into the whole matter.
