AN IMPORTANT COMMISSION.

M. Deschsnel, President of the Parliamentary Commission on foreign ooionial affairs, notified M. Rouvier that the Commission recommend France and Great Britain to co-operate in developing the Chinese railway system to establish community of interest in the For East in order to maintain their territorial status in Chinese waters. They advise that Great Britain be asked to recommend Siam to abandon armament and really neutralise the Menarn River valley.
Pending the agreement to remove all causes of dispute between France and Great Britain in New Hebrides the Commission advise the oontinuanoa of a six years’ annual grant of 260,000 francs for the agricultural development and improvement of French settlements. It advises France to give a plodgo in respeot to the □dependence of Ethopia.
