A PAINFUL ACCIDENT.

An eldirly Maori named Tuatae was brought it to the Hospital last night, suffering itom gunshot wounds in the leg. The acciddit occurred in Waimata Valley district at iho back of Tolago Bayl" The Maori was'proecding a man with a loaded gun. The gun accidentally went off, shooting tho Maori in the calf of the leg and severely injuring it. The shot has not yet been attracted.
