AFTERNOON S’TTING, (Per Press Association-) i, Wellington, last night. The Council met at 2,80. The Road Boards Act Amendment Bill psssed the final stages. The Old-Ago Pensions Bill was read a second time on the voices. The House resumed at 7.30.

The greater part of the afternoon was occupied in discussing Ministerial replies to quesliens EVENING SITTING. Tho House resumed at 7.80.

Tho following Bills have psssod the final stages : Mutual Fire Insurance Aet Amendment, and Registration and Public Works Amendment. Stewards’ Elective Executive Bill gave rise to a leDgth debate.
