At the Police Court to-day, Cecil Bush pleaded guilty to the theft of £l9. He was committed to ihe Supreme Court for sentence. G. K. Tail, fishmonger, rabbit, game and poultry dealer, was fined 10s for keeping his shop open on Thursday afternoon, the statutory half-holiday. Harry Jack, her son, aged 18, pleaded guilty, and was fined £lO and costs by Mr Widdowson, S.M. The case against Mrs Jack was dismissed.
