She made a lengthy statement, reiterating that she. married James. She impersonated Mrs James, who is her half, sister, and also impersonated Mrs Bently, receiving money from James in New Zealand and from the barracks nera as the wife of Bentley, both were members of the Bushmen’s Contingent. The presep® husband, Constable Baker, knew ol booh impersonations and benefited by tne moneys. She denied giving vitriol to the girl to throw over Baker.
